Macfie Curlewis Spiro is a very professional, efficient, friendly and conscientious law firm. I had Mr. Dan Casell notarise a letter for me but then I found out after that there were some serious errors in my writing on it so I had to correct it and get it notarised again. Dan did it a second time for me free of charge.

After dealing with so many lawfirms for different issues over the past 20 years, we went with a local firm (closest to our business premises) for a change. We have had the most professional, proactive and detailed advice and care over the past 4 months on various issues, properties and leases. I am genuinely impressed and have even taken another of our business' requirements here due to the amazing service, detailed and professional advice, and approachable nature of our lawyer. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this firm for sale or purchase conveyancing. I used them for sale of a commercial property and purchase of a residential property. Unfortunately both transactions were riddled with simple errors, typos and oversights. After settlement of my purchase the final settlement statement issued by MCS had the incorrect date and year of settlement - just one example of many errors! MCS also proceeded to settlement even though all compliance checks were not completed (which was discovered after settlement and I discovered the property was NOT compliant). Staff were pleasant to deal with, however quality of work is very poor.

I would not recommend this law firm! Totally incompetent is the only way I can describe this firm. It's lawyer, Dan Cassell is useless and quite frankly acted like he was not interested in assisting, spoke like he had just woken up, but very happy to charge fee after fee and what was mostly concerning was from meeting to meeting his notes, were in correct and not reflective of what was previously discussed. In the end, I had to write the letter for him to copy and paste onto the firm letterhead to send to the other party!!!!
