Julie was the ICL in my family law matter. Thankfully in the end the courts didn’t side with her final report and I ultimately won my case. However I still struggle with how she treated me during the most difficult time of my life. I felt bullied by Julie, she was unprofessional, mean and she was unable to differ any lies from truth. It’s scary to think people like Julie have the power.

This woman was appointed by the family court as an “Independenr Children’s Lawyer”. She has done nothing but work only in the interests of my ex wife. She has gone out of her way to ensure that contact with my children is hindered and made as difficult as possible. Julie Taylor hates fathers. She has appointed psychologists who are her personal friends to drag things out as long as possible and actively work in alienating the children from their father. It took almost half a year to get an initial appointment, and to this point, they have not even spoken to the children. The barrister who represented her in the family court, Robert Burns, confided in me that she was working actively to ensure that contact with my children was not made available so that she could drag the case out until the children were old enough to say they never want to see me, thus denying the kids a father and giving her the plausible deniability of being able to say “it wasn’t me”. If this woman is appointed to your case, her practice of man hatred will essentially mean you will never see your kids again.

Has unqualified trainees do her work for her. Will even accept handwritten notes from the other sides lawyer instead of reading subpoenas herself. And no she will not ask your permission. If your stuck with her double and triple check everything she does.

I called Julie Taylor’s office to ask if they dealt with Intervention orders since all the information I could find online talked about specialising in Family Law and divorces. I got snarked at by the female receptionist who spat at me that “we don’t give out free legal advice over the phone”. Needless to say, I went elsewhere.
