In my opinion you should avoid this firm! My experience was that their schedule of fees was vague at best and verbal advice was misleading. Charges were far in excess of what we were told for a simple probate. Advice given was incorrect and resulted in delays and once notified we no longer wished to engage their services they were rude. They put things in writing that have not happened. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

“I required the assistance of a solicitor due to a family law/custody dispute. Lisa from WMD law came highly recommended by a family member. Being the first time I had ever needed legal assistance, I was quite anxious and nervous about the whole experience. From day one Lisa and Taylah always took the time to explain everything and ensure that I had a thorough understanding of what was quite a complex case, what was a stressful situation was made so much easier. In the end we received the outcome we set out for and I could not be happier. I will be using WMD law for any legal issue that may come up in the future.

When engaging a Family Lawyer the financial experience should be a fair and just experience. Especially when clients are at their most vulnerable and have little knowledge of family law and the court system. I strongly advise against engaging Greg Dickson / WMD Law. This review comment is from my own personal and traumatic experience without prejudice. I submitted a report to the Australia Law Society where the law society found negligence by my representing lawyers. Any negligence is unacceptable. In my personal belief, the stress that was brought upon my father due to the Family Law Court proceedings contributed to my severely disabled brother's death - my father was his carer and followed 5 months later with my deeply depressed father having a heart attack causing death .. Contact the Australian Law Reform on advice with the Family Law Court prior to engaging a solicitor or a barrister to represent you in the Family Law Court. It is my belief the Family law Court is a private corporation operated by a Board of Directors that employ Federal Judges. Hence possible issues with prolonged cases that can cost thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. Advice: do your own research.

In my opinion, WMD Law have been very difficult to deal with. We were initially told verbally things which turned out not to be accurate, costs blown out and when we requested an itemised bill we were told this couldn't be provided In my opinion, you can save yourself a lot of grief by going elsewhere

As a sole trader, I needed a terms and condition document which could be attached to my initial estimates. Utilising Anika Fleets expertise in this area, I was able to have a professional yet extensive legal document written up. In a separate matter, can you image seeing your company's name on competitors vehicle! Matt Coulter of the Commercial Division, helped write a cease and desist letter advising that company to stop! Best results for both my matters, awesome outcome for Sole Traders.
